Made with Pride

Pride is important because there is always someone, somewhere apologizing for who they really are—especially in the Philippines where being part of the LGBTQ+ community is always looked down on. We pitched this initiative to Lazada who are more than happy to create a campaign to advocate being proud for being who you are.

After I wrote the story, we collaborated with other LGBTQ members to create this film—some even worked for free just to see this project into fruition.

This is probably my favorite of all the advertising work I’ve done. Not only because it had an unexpected positive result for the brand but also because I can say that we all made this with pride and with love.
